Systems and methods for identifying a vehicle asset pairing

A method for identifying a vehicle asset pairing, the method comprising operating at least one processor to:

• receive telematics data associated with a plurality of vehicle assets;
• and
• receive a selected telematics report associated with a selected vehicle asset at a first frequency;
• receive candidate telematics reports associated with a plurality of candidate vehicle assets at a second frequency different than the first frequency;
• and
• responsive to receipt of the selected telematics report, perform one or more pairing-identification operations using geospatial data from the selected telematics report and geospatial data from the candidate telematics reports to identify a paired vehicle asset for the selected vehicle asset.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon executable by at least one processor to implement a method for identifying a vehicle asset pairing, the method comprising operating at least one processor to:

• receive telematics data associated with a plurality of vehicle assets;
• and
• receive a selected telematics report associated with a selected vehicle asset at a first frequency;
• receive candidate telematics reports associated with a plurality of candidate vehicle assets at a second frequency different than the first frequency;
• and
• responsive to receipt of the selected telematics report, perform one or more pairing-identification operations using geospatial data from the selected telematics report and geospatial data from the candidate telematics reports to identify a paired vehicle asset for the selected vehicle asset.
