Abstract
A vessel for the storage and transportation of gasses. The vessel is particularly adapted for the storage and transportation of compressed gasses in vehicles.
Claims18
A vessel comprising at least one barrier layer, layer (BL), which comprises at least one thermoplastic polymer, thermoplastic polymer (TP), which is characterized by:
- a glass transition temperature of at least 65° C.;
- a melting temperature of at most 320° C.;
- an elongation at break at −40° C. of at least 2.5% when measured according to ISO 527-2 using test pieces according to ISO 1BA at a testing speed of 5 mm/min;
- and
- a hydrogen permeation coefficient at 85° C. of at most 500 Ncm3·mm/m2·d·bar.
