Abstract
A heat shrink tubing is provided exhibiting various desirable properties, which generally comprises at least one fluorinated polymeric resin. The tubing can exhibit desirable physical properties such as heat shrink capability, high expansion/recovery ratio, low longitudinal shrinkage, low temperature recovery, and an average wall thickness of less than about 0.003 inches.
Claims20
A heat shrink tubing, wherein the difference between a temperature corresponding to a peak temperature of a melting endotherm obtained from a DSC temperature ramp using a 10° C. per minute heating rate and a temperature corresponding to a relative minimum in an E′-T curve obtained in a DMA temperature ramp of a heat shrink tubing specimen oriented circumferentially in the tensile grips is greater than about 7.5° C.
