Abstract
[Problem] It is desired to mitigate impacts transmitted to a linear motion mechanism, which is configured to convert rotational motion into linear motion. [Solution] The linear motion device includes: a drive unit configured to output rotation; a linear motion mechanism configured to receive rotational motion input from the drive unit and convert the rotational motion into linear motion; a cylinder containing a fluid to which the linear motion is input from the linear motion mechanism; and an output member to which the linear motion input from the linear motion mechanism is transmitted via the fluid.

A linear motion device comprising:
- a drive unit configured to output rotation;
- a linear motion mechanism configured to receive rotational motion input from the drive unit and convert the rotational motion into linear motion;
- a cylinder containing a fluid to which the linear motion is input from the linear motion mechanism;
- and
- an output member to which the linear motion input from the linear motion mechanism is transmitted via the fluid.
A conversion mechanism for converting rotational motion into linear motion, the conversion mechanism comprising:
- a linear motion mechanism configured to receive rotational motion input thereto and convert the rotational motion into linear motion;
- a cylinder containing a fluid to which the linear motion is input from the linear motion mechanism;
- and
- an output member to which the linear motion input from the linear motion mechanism is transmitted via the fluid.
