Abstract
The present invention relates to compositions comprising (a) a lipase; and (b) one or more peptides boosting/enhancing the performance/activity of the lipase. The invention also relates to methods for cleaning or washing using a composition of the invention and an enzyme product comprising (a) a lipase; and (b) one or more peptides. Finally, the invention also relates to peptides capable of boosting/enhancing lipases' fat removing performance/activity.
Claims15
A composition comprising:
- (a) one or more lipases;
- and
- (b) one or more peptides selected from the group of:
- i) a peptide having at least 65%, at least 70%, at least 75%, at least 80%, at least 85%, at least 90%, at least 95% identity, at least 96%, at least 97%, at least 98%, or at least 99%, or 100% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 2;
- and/or
- ii) a peptide having at least 60%, at least 65%, at least 70%, at least 75%, at least 80%, at least 85%, at least 90%, at least 95% identity, at least 96%, at least 97%, at least 98%, or at least 99%, or 100% sequence identity to SEQ ID NOs:
- 3 or 10.
The composition of 1, wherein the composition comprising a surfactant or surfactant system wherein the surfactant is selected from nonionic surfactants, anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, ampholytic surfactants, zwitterionic surfactants, semi-polar nonionic surfactants and mixtures thereof.
An enzyme product comprising:
- (a) one or more lipases;
- and
- (b) one or more peptide selected from the group of:
- i) a peptide having at least 65%, at least 70%, at least 75%, at least 80%, at least 85%, at least 90%, at least 95% identity, at least 96%, at least 97%, at least 98%, or at least 99%, or 100% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 2;
- and/or
- ii) a peptide having at least 60%, at least 65%, at least 70%, at least 75%, at least 80%, at least 85%, at least 90%, at least 95% identity, at least 96%, at least 97%, at least 98%, or at least 99%, or 100% sequence identity to SEQ ID NOs:
- 3 or 10.
