Ink set and method for manufacturing printed matter

An ink set comprising:

• an aqueous white inkjet ink;
• and an aqueous yellow inkjet ink used to be printed on a layer formed by printing the aqueous white inkjet ink, wherein
• the aqueous white inkjet ink contains dispersed particles (PW) of an inorganic white pigment,
• the aqueous yellow inkjet ink contains dispersed particles (PY) of C.I. Pigment Yellow 155, and
• when a content of the dispersed particles (PW) to a total amount of the aqueous white inkjet ink is represented by WW (% by mass), an average particle size and a density of the dispersed particles (PW) are represented by SW (nm) and DW (g/cm3), respectively, and a content of the dispersed particles (PY) to a total amount of the aqueous yellow inkjet ink is represented by WY (% by mass), formulas (1) to (4) below are all satisfied.
