Abstract
The present invention relates to a polyester resin, a method for manufacturing same, and an article produced therefrom. Specifically, the method for manufacturing a polyester resin comprises the steps of: (1) preparing a reaction raw material including a first glycol component and an acid component; (2) obtaining a first reactant by subjecting the reaction raw material to a primary esterification reaction; and (3) obtaining a second reactant by subjecting the first reactant to a secondary esterification reaction. The present invention can significantly reduce by-products generated during the process of manufacturing a polyester resin.
Claims14
A process for preparing a polyester resin, which comprises:
- (1) preparing a reaction raw material comprising a first glycol component and an acid component;
- (2) subjecting the reaction raw material to a first esterification reaction to obtain a first reactant;
- and
- (3) subjecting the first reactant to a second esterification reaction to obtain a second reactant,
- wherein at least one second glycol component having a carbon number of 2 or more is fed dividedly throughout steps (1) to (3), or fed dividedly throughout steps (2) and (3), or fed all at once in steps (3).
