Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a polyester-based resin using recycled compounds and a method for preparing the same. According to the present disclosure, there is provided a method for preparing a high-quality polyester-based resin while using recycled compounds as raw materials and minimizing the use of petroleum-based compounds, which is advantageous for achieving environmental sustainability.
Claims13
A method for preparing a polyester-based resin, comprising:
- preparing a molten liquid by heating chemically recycled bis(2-hydroxyethyl) terephthalate;
- forming an oligomer by heating a composition including the molten liquid;
- and
- producing the polyester-based resin by polycondensing the oligomer.
