Abstract
Provided herein are affinity agents comprising ligands that specifically bind target molecules. The affinity agents are useful for binding, isolation, and/or purifications.
Claims16
An affinity agent comprising a ligand that binds to haptoglobin protein, wherein the ligand comprises a polypeptide having a sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1
- X1QRRX2FIX3X4LRX5DPSX6SAX7LLAX8AKX9X10NDX11QAPK,
- wherein X1 is A, D, E, H, I, L, Q, S, T, V, or W;
- X2 is A, E, G, H, N, Q, S, or Y;
- X3 is A, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, N, Q, R, S, T, W, or Y;
- X4 IS A, F, H, L, Q, S, T, V, or Y;
- X5 is A, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, N, Q, R, S, T, V, or Y;
- X6 is A, D, E, G, H, I, K, L, Q, S, T, or V;
- X7 is A, E, G, H, I, L, P, S, T, V, W, or Y;
- X8 is A, G, I, L, T, or V;
- X9 is A, D, E, G, H, K, N, R, S, or T;
- X10 is F, H, R, V, or W;
- and X11 is A, D, E, H, K, N, Q, R, S, or T.
An affinity agent comprising a ligand that binds to a haptoglobin protein, wherein the ligand comprises a polypeptide having a sequence of any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 2-123, or a polypeptide that differs by no more than three, by no more than two, or by no more than one, amino acid substitutions, additions, or deletions from any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 2-123.
