The present application relates to a peptide having a cartilage regeneration effect, and uses thereof, and provides a peptide including an amino acid sequence of Glu(E)-Tyr(Y)-Phe(F)-Trp(W) or Arg(R)-Thr(T)-Leu(L), a composition for cartilage regeneration, including the peptide, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating a cartilage disease, including the composition for cartilage regeneration as an active ingredient.
