Abstract
A phenoxycarbamoyl chloride compound useful as an intermediate for the production of a phenoxyurea compound having an insecticidal activity, an acaricidal activity and/or a nematicidal activity is represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group; Y represents a C1-6 haloalkyl group; X represents a halogeno group, a C1-6 alkyl group, or a C1-6 haloalkyl group; n represents an integer of 0 to 4; and X's may be the same as or different from each other when n is 2 or more.)

A compound of formula (1):
- (in formula (1),
- R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted C1-6 alkyl group,
- Y is a C1-6 haloalkyl group,
- X is a halogeno group, a C1-6 alkyl group, or a C1-6 haloalkyl group,
- n indicates a number of X and is an integer of 0 to 4, and when n is two or more, X may be identical to or different from each other.)
A production method of a compound of formula (1), comprising:
- chemically reacting a compound of formula (8) with a compound of formula (2) in the presence of a base to obtain an N-alkylated compound;
