Abstract
A plastic, hot-fillable container is provided. The container comprises a blow molded body defining a longitudinal axis. The body including a base and a neck having at least one rib disposed about at least a portion of a circumference of the neck and transverse to the axis, and at least one angled thread. The at least one rib defining a cross section having a first portion and a second angled portion. Container systems and methods of manufacturing containers are disclosed.

A container defining a longitudinal axis and including a base and a neck extending from the base, the neck a plurality of threads, at least one of the threads extending at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis and comprising spaced apart projections extending therealong.
