Abstract
A parking brake release method may include: receiving a request for a parking brake release of a vehicle; determining whether the parking brake release is permitted; requesting an owner of thing vehicle for a final approval of the parking brake release when the parking brake release is determined to be permitted; and remotely releasing the parking brake of the vehicle when the final approval of the owner is received.

A parking brake release method, comprising:
- receiving a request for a parking brake release of a vehicle;
- determining whether the parking brake release is permitted;
- requesting an owner of thing vehicle for a final approval of the parking brake release based on the parking brake release being determined to be permitted;
- and
- remotely releasing the parking brake of the vehicle based on a receipt of the final approval of the owner.

- one or more memory devices storing program codes;

- one or more processors configured to perform, by execute the program,
- receiving a request for a parking brake release of a vehicle,
