Abstract

Impact shield (100) for a child seat (10), wherein the impact shield (100) comprises: a restraint portion (105), a first connection part (110) and a second connection part (120), which are each transferable, in particular displaceable, at least in sections relative to the restraint portion (105) from at least a first position into at least a second position, and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the respective position of the first and second connection parts (110, 120), wherein the adjustment mechanism comprises an operative connection which connects the first and second connection parts (110,120) to one another and causes that the adjustment of one of the first connection part (110) and the second connection part (120) causes a corresponding adjustment of the other of the first connection part (110) and the second connection part (120).
