Utility vehicle

A battery pack configured to supply electrical energy to an electric motor of a utility vehicle, the battery pack comprising:

• a first bracket;
• a second bracket offset from the first bracket;
• a first battery module positioned between the first bracket and the second bracket;
• a second battery module positioned between the first battery module and the second bracket;
• and
• a first rod and a second rod each extending from the first bracket, through the first battery module and the second battery module, to the second bracket, wherein the first rod and the second rod couple the first battery module and the second battery module to the first bracket and the second bracket.

A vehicle comprising:

• a chassis including:
• a pair of frame rails extending longitudinally along the vehicle;
• a first cross member extending laterally between the pair of frame rails;
• and
• a second cross member extending laterally between the pair of frame rails and longitudinally offset from the first cross member, wherein the second cross member is positioned at a different height than the first cross member;
• a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
• an electric motor configured to drive the tractive element to propel the vehicle;
• and
• a battery pack configured to supply electrical energy to the electric motor, the battery pack including:
• a first bracket coupled to the first cross member;
• a second bracket coupled to the second cross member;
• a first battery module proximate the first bracket, the first battery module including a first stud and a second stud;
• a second battery module proximate the second bracket, the second battery module including a third stud and a fourth stud, the second battery module being different than the first battery module;
• a third battery module positioned between the first battery module and the second battery module, the third battery module including a fifth stud and a sixth stud;
• a plurality of rods extending from the first bracket, through the first battery module, the second battery module, and the third battery module, and to the second bracket;
• a first bus bar extending longitudinally and coupled to the first stud, the third stud, and the fifth stud;
• and
• a second bus bar positioned below the first bus bar and coupled to the second stud, the fourth stud, and the sixth stud.
