Utility vehicle

A utility vehicle comprising:

• a chassis extending longitudinally;
• a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
• an electric motor configured to drive the tractive element to propel the utility vehicle;
• a battery pack coupled to the chassis and positioned forward of the electric motor, the battery pack configured to supply electrical energy to the electric motor, the battery pack including a first battery module and a second battery module longitudinally offset from the first battery module;
• a seat assembly supported by the chassis, the seat assembly including a seat frame and a seat supported by the seat frame, the seat frame defining a storage compartment beneath the seat, the seat including a seat bottom that is repositionable to permit access to the storage compartment;
• and
• a bed positioned rearward of the seat and coupled to the chassis, the bed pivotable relative to the chassis;
• wherein the battery pack and the electric motor are both positioned beneath the bed and rearward of the storage compartment;
• and
• wherein the bed is configured to support a load of at least about 1,200 pounds, wherein the bed has a bed length extending longitudinally, and wherein the bed length is at least about 6 feet.

A utility vehicle comprising:

• a chassis including:
• a first frame rail and a second frame rail extending longitudinally and laterally offset from one another;
• a splash plate fixedly coupled to the first frame rail and extending laterally away from the second frame rail;
• and
• a seat frame fixedly coupled to the first frame rail and the second frame rail and extending upward from the first frame rail;
• a tractive element coupled to the chassis;
• an engine coupled to the chassis and configured to drive the tractive element to propel the utility vehicle;
• a fuel tank coupled to the chassis and configured to supply fuel to the engine, wherein the splash plate extends beneath the fuel tank;
• a seat assembly supported by the chassis, the seat assembly including a seat frame and a seat supported by the seat frame, the seat frame defining a storage compartment beneath the seat, the seat including a seat bottom that is repositionable to permit access to the storage compartment;
• an air intake coupled to a rear side of the seat frame and configured to supply air to the engine;
• a carbon canister coupled to the rear side of the seat frame and configured to capture a contaminant released by the fuel tank;
• and
• a bed positioned rearward of the seat and coupled to the chassis, wherein the bed is pivotable relative to the chassis between a first position and a second position;
• wherein the engine and the fuel tank are positioned rearward of the storage compartment and below the bed;
• and
• wherein the bed is configured to support a load of at least about 1,200 pounds, wherein the bed has a bed length extending longitudinally, and wherein the bed length is at least about 6 feet.
