The glass layer may be disposed on the impact-load-distributing layer. The impact-load distributing layer may be disposed on the substrate.

A laminated glass article comprising:
- an impact-load-distributing layer comprising a shear-thinning fluid;
- a glass layer disposed on the impact-load-distributing layer;
- and
- a substrate, wherein the impact-load distributing layer is disposed on the substrate.
