Abstract
A transformable toy is provided with a launching device. The transformable toy includes a body, one or more latch units, a projectile, a launching unit. The body of the transformable toy is transformed from a first shape into a second shape through contact with an item disposed at a random location after the body moves to the item or the item approaches the body. The launching unit is configured to launch a projectile placed in the toy.

A transformable toy, the transformable toy comprising:
- a body rotatably coupled to plurality of component bodies;
- a first latch unit configured to restrain the plurality of component bodies to maintain a first shape of the body;
- a projectile placed in the body;
- and
- a launching unit configured to launch the projectile, wherein when the toy contacts an item, the first latch unit is configured to be unlocked to deploy the component bodies to transform a shape of the body from the first shape to a second shape.
