Abstract
The present disclosure related to the field of medicine. More particularly, the disclosure is in the field of treatment of diabetes, obesity, and/or dyslipidemia. The disclosure relates to compounds that agonize both the calcitonin and amylin receptors and can lower food intake, body weight, glucose and/or triglycerides, so can be used to treat diabetes, obesity and/or dyslipidemia. The present disclosure also includes pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds and therapeutic uses of such compounds and compositions.

A compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof comprising SEQ ID NO:1.
A method of treating a condition selected from the group consisting of diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, or non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in a patient in need thereof, said method comprising administering to the patient an effective amount of the compound of claim 1, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
A method of lowering food intake, lowering body weight, lowering blood glucose, or lowering triglycerides in a patient in need thereof, said method comprising administering to the patient an effective amount of the compound of claim 1, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt of claim 1, and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
