Abstract
The present invention relates to nanoparticles of a metal chosen from among platinum, bismuth or a mixture thereof, which are functionalised at their surface by functionalised polyethylene glycol, comprising in particular at least one OH, COOH, NH2 or SH functional group, and to their method of preparation, which comprises of the following steps: a) Mixing a precursor of nanoparticles with a functionalised polyethylene glycol, in particular comprising at least one OH, COOH, NH2 or SH functional group, in water; b) Exposing the mixture to ionising radiation.
Claims18
A nanoparticle preparation method for preparing nanoparticles of a metal selected from the group consisting of among platinum, gold, and bismuth, or a mixture thereof, comprising:
- mixing in water a precursor of nanoparticles with an optionally functionalized polyethylene glycol with at least one COOH, NH2 and/or SH functional group to form a mixture;
- and
- exposing the mixture to ionizing radiation.
A preparation method for preparing a sterile colloidal solution comprising nanoparticles of a metal selected from the group consisting of platinum, gold, and bismuth, or a mixture thereof, comprising:
- mixing in water a precursor of nanoparticles with an optionally functionalized polyethylene glycol with at least one COOH, NH2 and/or SH functional group to form a mixture;
- and
- exposing the mixture to ionizing radiation.
