Abstract
An anastomotic coupler is provided. A cartridge includes a body having a body diameter. The body is operable to be received in a lumen of a tubular structure. A support has a support diameter. One or more columns extend between the body and the support. At least one of the one or more columns including a tapered portion. The tapered portion extends at an angle from a longitudinal axis. The support diameter is larger than the body diameter.

A cartridge for an anastomotic coupler, the cartridge comprising:
- a body having a body diameter, the body operable to be received in a lumen of a tubular structure;
- a support having a support diameter;
- one or more columns extending between the body and the support, at least one of the one or more columns including a tapered portion, the tapered portion extending at an angle from a longitudinal axis,
- wherein the support diameter is larger than the body diameter.

An anastomotic coupler comprising:
- a ring operable to receive a tubular structure extending along a longitudinal axis, the ring including a body with one or more walls forming a lumen, the one or more walls including a ring tapered portion that extends at an angle from the longitudinal axis;
- and
- a cartridge operable to be received in the tubular structure, the cartridge including:
- a body having a body diameter, the body operable to be received in a lumen of a tubular structure;
- a support having a support diameter;
- one or more columns extending between the body and the support, at least one of the one or more columns including a tapered portion, the tapered portion extending at an angle from a longitudinal axis corresponding with the ring tapered portion of the ring,
- wherein the support diameter is larger than the body diameter.
