Abstract
A spring module for furniture includes a conical spring and a plurality of flexible straps. Each flexible strap has a strap-like main body and a first hook at the first end of the main body and a second hook at the second end of the main body. The first hook is configured to be removably hooked on a larger diameter end of the conical spring, and the second hook is configured to be removably hooked on a smaller diameter end of the conical spring. When the first hook and the second hook are hooked on the conical spring, the flexible straps are positioned outside the conical spring.
Claims16
A spring module for a furniture cushion, comprising:
- a conical spring having a flat bottom coil and a flat top coil oriented in a horizontal plane parallel to the flat bottom coil;
- the flat bottom coil having a diameter greater than the flat top coil;
- at least three flexible straps, each flexible strap having a main body between a first strap end and a second strap end;
- the main body of each flexible strap extending only alongside the conical spring and not over the flat bottom coil or the flat top coil;
- and
- at least one of the first strap end and the second strap end of each strap releasably attached to the flat bottom coil or the flat top coil via a hook.
