Abstract
An adjustable multi-layer bra includes an inner bra layer, an outer bra layer, and an adjustment string. The inner bra layer includes a first bra cup and a second bra cup. The outer bra layer includes a first shoulder strap and a second shoulder strap and is positioned at least partially over the inner bra layer. The adjustment string is coupled to the first bra cup by a first adjustment string appendage and the second bra cup by a second adjustment string appendage. The adjustment string includes a first end portion and a second end portion, the first adjustment string appendage extends from a first point along the adjustment string, and the second adjustment string appendage extends from a second point along the adjustment string.
Claims14
An adjustable bra, comprising:
- an inner bra layer including:
- a first bra cup;
- and
- a second bra cup;
- an adjustment string coupled to the first bra cup by a first adjustment string appendage and the second bra cup by a second adjustment string appendage, the adjustment string including a first end portion and a second end portion, the first adjustment string appendage extending from a first point along the adjustment string, and the second adjustment string appendage extending from a second point along the adjustment string;
- and
- an outer bra layer positioned at least partially over the inner bra layer, the outer bra layer including:
- a first shoulder strap;
- and
- a second shoulder strap;
- wherein the first end portion of the adjustment string is configured to be detachably affixed to the first shoulder strap, and the second end portion of the adjustment string is configured to be detachably affixed to the second shoulder strap.
A method of using an adjustable multi-layer bra, the method comprising:
- lifting a first bra cup of an inner bra layer by upwardly pulling a first end portion of an adjustment string, wherein a first adjustment string appendage extends from a first point along the adjustment string and couples the first bra cup to the adjustment string;
- securing the first end portion of the adjustment string to a first shoulder strap of an outer bra layer;
- lifting a second bra cup of the inner bra layer by upwardly pulling a second end portion of the adjustment string, wherein a second adjustment string appendage extends from a second point along the adjustment string and couples the second bra cup to the adjustment string;
- and
- securing the second end portion of the adjustment string to a second shoulder strap of the outer bra layer.
