Method and system for enhanced indication of tpc command value for uplink transmission in multi-trp operation

A wireless communication device comprising at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:

• identify that each of a plurality of Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource sets, associated with a plurality of Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) repeated transmissions, is associated with a plurality of spatial relations or a plurality of power control parameter sets;
• identify that each of the plurality of SRS resource sets is associated with a plurality of closed loop indices;
• wherein the plurality of closed loop indices, corresponding to the plurality of SRS resource sets, are the same;
• receive, via a transceiver from a wireless communication node, a downlink signaling that comprises a plurality of Transmission Power Control (TPC) command fields which indicate plurality of TPC command values;
• and
• send, via the transceiver, the plurality of PUSCH repeated transmissions using the same closed loop index value.

A wireless communication method, comprising:

• sending, by the wireless communication node to a wireless communication device, a downlink signaling that comprises a plurality of Transmission Power Control (TPC) command fields which indicate a plurality of TPC command values, wherein:
• each of a plurality of Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource sets, associated with a plurality of Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) repeated transmissions, is associated with a plurality of spatial relations or a plurality of power control parameter sets,
• each of the plurality of SRS resource sets is associated with a plurality of closed loop indices, and
• the plurality of closed loop indices, corresponding to the plurality of SRS resource sets, are the same;
• and
• receiving, by the wireless communication node from the wireless communication device, at least one of the plurality of PUSCH repeated transmissions which use a same closed loop index value.

A wireless communication node, comprising at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to:

• send, via a transceiver to a wireless communication device, a downlink signaling that comprises a plurality of Transmission Power Control (TPC) command fields which indicate a plurality of TPC command values, wherein:
• each of a plurality of Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource sets, associated with a plurality of Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) repeated transmissions, is associated with a plurality of spatial relations or a plurality of power control parameter sets,
• each of the plurality of SRS resource sets is associated with a plurality of closed loop indices, and
• the plurality of closed loop indices, corresponding to the plurality of SRS resource sets, are the same;
• and
• receive, via the transceiver from the wireless communication device, at least one of the plurality of PUSCH repeated transmissions which use a same closed loop index value.
