Carrier aggregation in multiple different service provider networks

A system comprising:

• communication management hardware disposed in a mobile communication device, the communication management hardware operative to:
• establish a first wireless communication link with a first wireless network operated by a first network service provider;
• receive notification of a second wireless network supporting wireless bandwidth aggregation with the first wireless network, the second wireless network operated by a second network service provider;
• and
• register the mobile communication device with a bandwidth aggregation controller to use the second wireless network.

A method comprising:

• detecting a mobile communication device in communication with a first wireless network over a first wireless communication link, the first wireless network operated by a first network service provider;
• providing notification to the mobile communication device, the notification indicating a second wireless network supporting wireless bandwidth aggregation with the first wireless network, the second wireless network operated by a second network service provider;
• and
• registering the mobile communication device with a bandwidth aggregation controller to use the first wireless network and the second wireless network.

Computer-readable storage hardware having instructions stored thereon, the instructions, when carried out by computer processor hardware, cause the computer processor hardware to:

• establish a first wireless communication link with a first wireless network operated by a first network service provider;
• receive notification of a second wireless network supporting wireless bandwidth aggregation with the first wireless network, the second wireless network operated by a second network service provider;
• and
• register the mobile communication device with a bandwidth aggregation controller to use the second wireless network.

Computer-readable storage hardware having instructions stored thereon, the instructions, when carried out by computer processor hardware, cause the computer processor hardware to:

• detect a mobile communication device in communication with a first wireless network over a first wireless communication link, the first wireless network operated by a first network service provider;
• provide notification to the mobile communication device, the notification indicating a second wireless network supporting wireless bandwidth aggregation with the first wireless network, the second wireless network operated by a second network service provider;
• and
• register the mobile communication device with a bandwidth aggregation controller to simultaneously use the first wireless network and the second wireless network.
