Abstract
An information processing apparatus is configured to acquire image data obtained by reading a manuscript and detect a character region including one or more characters from the image data. The information processing apparatus is further configured to determine whether the detected character region satisfies a predetermined condition. When the character region satisfies the condition, the information processing apparatus performs processing on the image data to replace the character region with an image of an object indicated by the characters included in the character region.
Claims19
An information processing apparatus, comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- at least one memory coupled to the one or more processors and storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- acquiring image data obtained by reading a manuscript;
- detecting a character region including one or more characters from the image data;
- determining whether the detected character region satisfies a predetermined condition;
- and
- performing, when the character region satisfies the condition, processing on the image data to replace the character region with an image of an object indicated by the one or more characters included in the character region.
A control method for an information processing apparatus, comprising:
- acquiring image data obtained by reading a manuscript;
- detecting a character region including one or more characters from the image data;
- determining whether the detected character region satisfies a predetermined condition;
- and
- performing, when the character region satisfies the condition, processing on the image data to replace the character region with an image of an object indicated by the one or more characters included in the character region.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising computer-executable instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform a control method for an information processing apparatus, the control method comprising:
- acquiring image data obtained by reading a manuscript;
- detecting a character region including one or more characters from the image data;
- determining whether the detected character region satisfies a predetermined condition;
- and
- performing, when the character region satisfies the condition, processing on the image data to replace the character region with an image of an object indicated by the one or more characters included in the character region.
