Abstract
A multifunction peripheral (MFP) displays paper attributes whose values are not successfully determined because there is no association or slight association with paper features obtained based on detection results of a media sensor in a manner distinguishable from other paper attributes.

An apparatus comprising:
- at least one memory storing instructions;
- and
- at least one processor that, upon execution of the stored instructions, configures the at least one processor to operate as:
- an identification unit configured to identify a feature of a sheet to be used for printing, and
- a display control unit configured to display sheet information including the feature of the sheet on a display device,
- wherein the display control unit is configured to display the sheet information including features of the sheet identified by the identification unit using respective different identification methods on the display device in a mutually distinguished manner, and
- wherein the identification methods for the features of the sheet by the identification unit include an identification method based on a detection result of a detection unit configured to detect a physical quantity corresponding to a feature of the sheet during conveyance of the sheet.
