Image processing apparatus, method of controlling image processing apparatus, and storage medium

A method of controlling an image processing apparatus including a display unit displaying various information, comprising:

• obtaining, based on a predetermined condition, an available method from among a plurality of different methods in which a diagnosis result of an error that has occurred during an operation of the image processing apparatus is confirmed in methods different from displaying the diagnosis result on the display unit;
• displaying a screen on the display unit, the screen displaying the available method obtained in the obtaining in a selectable mode;
• and
• displaying, on the display unit, an unavailable method among the plurality of different methods in an unselectable mode in the screen.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing a program which causes a computer to execute a method of controlling an image processing apparatus including a display unit displaying various information, the method comprising:

• obtaining, based on a predetermined condition, an available method from among a plurality of different methods in which a diagnosis result of an error that has occurred during an operation of the image processing apparatus is confirmed in methods different from displaying the diagnosis result on the display unit;
• displaying a screen on the display unit, the screen displaying the available method obtained in the obtaining in a selectable mode;
• and
• displaying, on the display unit, an unavailable method among the plurality of different methods in an unselectable mode in the screen.
