Abstract
A communication method and a related apparatus are provided. The method includes: A first SEPP sends a protected first HTTP message to an IPX, where the protected first HTTP message is determined after a first HTTP message is protected based on a first N32-f context. The first SEPP performs a corresponding error response operation based on a transmission error indicated by first indication information sent by the IPX. For example, the first SEPP re-exchanges a parameter with a second SEPP to obtain a second N32-f context, and after the first HTTP message is protected based on the second N32-f context, the first SEPP sends a re-protected first HTTP message to the IPX.
Claims20
A communication method, comprising:
- performing, by a first security edge protection proxy, security protection on a first hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) message by using a first N32-f context between the first security edge protection proxy and a second security edge protection proxy, to obtain a protected first HTTP message, wherein the first HTTP message is used to implement a roaming service between the first security edge protection proxy and the second security edge protection proxy;
- sending, by the first security edge protection proxy, the protected first HTTP message to an internet protocol exchange service (IPX), wherein the IPX is used to route a message sent by the first security edge protection proxy to the second security edge protection proxy;
- receiving, by the first security edge protection proxy, first indication information from the IPX, wherein the first indication information indicates a transmission error of the first HTTP message;
- and
- performing, by the first security edge protection proxy, an error response operation corresponding to the transmission error.
A communication method, comprising:
- receiving, by an internet protocol exchange service (IPX), a protected first hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) message from a first security edge protection proxy, wherein the protected first HTTP message is obtained by performing security protection on the first HTTP message based on a first N32-f context between the first security edge protection proxy and a second security edge protection proxy;
- and
- sending, by the IPX, first indication information to the first security edge protection proxy, wherein the first indication information indicates a transmission error of the first HTTP message, wherein
- the transmission error comprises one or more of the following:
- an information element IE is encrypted in the first HTTP message while the IPX requires that the information element not be encrypted;
- an information element IE is not encrypted in the first HTTP message while the IPX requires that the information element be encrypted;
- a network topology of a public land mobile network PLMN in which the first security edge protection proxy is located is not hidden;
- or
- a message format of the first HTTP message is not a first format.
A first security edge protection proxy, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory storing instructions and the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the first security edge protection proxy to:
- perform security protection on a first hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) message by using a first N32-f context between the first security edge protection proxy and a second security edge protection proxy, to obtain a protected first HTTP message, wherein the first HTTP message is used to implement a roaming service between the first security edge protection proxy and the second security edge protection proxy;
- send the protected first HTTP message to an internet protocol exchange service (IPX), wherein the IPX is used to route a message sent by the first security edge protection proxy to the second security edge protection proxy;
- receive first indication information from the IPX, wherein the first indication information indicates a transmission error of the first HTTP message;
- and
- perform an error response operation corresponding to the transmission error.
