Abstract

A vibration actuator includes: a movable body which includes a stack having a magnet, a pair of magnetic cores and a pair of non-magnetic weights, is supported at upper and lower sides of the movable body by a pair of leaf springs connected respectively to the pair of non-magnetic weights, and is operable to move vertically inside of a coil of a fixing body. A vertical movement range of the movable body is determined based on a total spring constant of the leaf springs and a magnetic spring formed by the magnet and a magnetic cylindrical body disposed outside of the coil in the fixing body. The magnetic cylindrical body, having upper and lower ends linearly protruding vertically beyond upper and lower ends of the coil, functions as the magnetic spring at a position outer side of the coil and spaced apart from the movable body.
