Abstract
Light guiding pipes, bases, and light guiding pipe and base assemblies for connector assemblies are described. An example assembly includes a light guiding pipe and a base. The light guiding pipe includes a light outputting end, a light inputting end, and a locking block adjacent to the light inputting end. The base includes an accommodating hole for the light guiding pipe. The accommodating hole includes a locking block insertion groove for the locking block of the light guiding pipe. In some implementations, the accommodating hole of the base also includes a locking block locking groove and an inner stopping surface. The inner stopping surface can limit a position of the locking block of the light guiding pipe when the light guiding pipe is rotated within the accommodating hole.

An assembly, comprising:
- a light guiding pipe comprising a light outputting end, a light inputting end, and a locking block adjacent to the light inputting end;
- and
- a base comprising an accommodating hole for the light guiding pipe, the accommodating hole comprising a locking block insertion groove for the locking block of the light guiding pipe.
An assembly, comprising:
- a light guiding pipe comprising a locking block adjacent to one end of the light guiding pipe;
- and
- a base comprising an accommodating hole for the light guiding pipe, the accommodating hole comprising a locking block locking groove and an inner stopping surface which limits a position of the locking block of the light guiding pipe when the light guiding pipe is rotated within the accommodating hole.
An assembly, comprising:
- a shielding cage;
- a light guiding pipe assembled to the shielding cage, the light guiding pipe comprising a locking block and a position-limiting block adjacent to one end of the light guiding pipe;
- and
- a base comprising an accommodating hole for the light guiding pipe, the accommodating hole comprising a locking block locking groove for the locking block of the light guiding pipe and a recessed groove for the position-limiting block of the light guiding pipe.
