Abstract
A secondary battery is disclosed. According to the present disclosure, there is provided a secondary battery including an electrode assembly accommodated in a case, a current collector electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and a rivet welded to the current collector, wherein the current collector includes a stress relief space configured to accommodate least a portion of a weld bead generated during welding with the rivet.

A secondary battery comprising:
- an electrode assembly accommodated in a case;
- a current collector electrically connected to the electrode assembly;
- and
- a rivet welded to the current collector,
- wherein the current collector includes a stress relief space configured to accommodate least a portion of a weld bead generated during welding with the rivet.
