Molding Apparatus and Method, and Pouch Type Battery Case Molded Therethrough

A molding method for molding a pouch film, the molding method comprising:

• fixing the pouch film between a die, in which a first opening is formed, and a stripper, in which a second opening is formed;
• allowing a sub punch to primarily press the pouch film through the second opening between an outer circumference of a sub die disposed in the first opening and an inner circumference of the first opening;
• and
• allowing a punch disposed to face the sub die with the pouch film therebetween to secondarily press the pouch film through the second opening together with the sub punch.

A pouch type battery case comprising:

• a cup part having a recessed shape;
• and
• a terrace disposed on a circumference of the cup part,
• wherein a circumferential portion of the cup part comprises:
• a first circumferential portion connected to the terrace through a die edge;
• and
• a second circumferential portion connected to the first circumferential portion and having a thickness less than that of the first circumferential portion.
