Crossbar assembly and molded case circuit breaker including the same

Abstract

Proposed is a crossbar assembly and a molded case circuit breaker including the same, capable of enhancing an operation speed so that an arc can be quickly extinguished in the event of a short circuit by improving insulation performance and assembly of the toggle-type current-limiting device, and to ensure reliability to be applied to high voltage environments by optimizing an insulation structure of a crossbar and a crossbar cap. The crossbar assembly includes a movable electrode for rotating by a mechanism of a circuit breaker and performing opening and closing of a contact point of the circuit breaker, a crossbar for providing a rotation shaft on which the movable electrode can rotate, and a crossbar cap coupled to both sides of the crossbar, wherein the crossbar comprises at least one insulating groove formed as a recessed portion on a circumferential surface in order to increase an insulation distance.
