Display device for immersive screen, and control method thereof

A control method of a display apparatus, the method comprising:

• displaying a video based on content received from a source apparatus;
• based on a network state for communicating with an external apparatus via a network being a first state, transmitting to the external apparatus, first video data corresponding to the content;
• and
• based on the network state being a second state, transmitting to the external apparatus, at least one from among:
• (i) feature information of the first video data and (ii) second video data converted based on the first video data.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having instructions recorded thereon, that, when executed by at least one processor of a display apparatus, individually or collectively, cause the display apparatus to:

• display a video based on content received from a source apparatus;
• based on a network state for communicating with an external apparatus via a network being a first state, transmit to the external apparatus, first video data corresponding to the content;
• and
• based on the network state being a second state, transmit to the external apparatus, at least one from among:
• (i) feature information of the first video data and (ii) second video data converted based on the first video data.
