Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to the application of data governance within the domain of a data supply chain. Governance is specified and administered through a method and system for a Data Supply Chain Process Instance (DSCPI), which is a collection of elements representing a specific purpose/data object/data service combination. Further, the method and system specify and administer governance across a collection of DSCPIs within the jurisdiction of a Data Supply Chain Governance Domain (DSCGD), through which the health of the DSCPIs and DSCGD may be monitored and improved.
