System and method

A method executed by processing circuitry included in one or more information processing apparatuses in a system including the one or more information processing apparatuses, the method comprising:

• receiving, from a first terminal, an input of an arrangement of a logical device and an input of a usage of the logical device on architectural drawing data of a specific building;
• registering an arrangement position and operation setting of the logical device based on the architectural drawing data with which the arrangement and usage of the logical device are associated;
• receiving, from a second terminal, identification information of a physical device to be installed in the building and identification information of a hub to be installed in the building, wherein a label that allows identification of the identification information of the physical device is attached to the physical device, and a label that allows identification of the identification information of the hub is attached to the hub;
• registering the identification information of the physical device and the identification information of the hub, and pairing the physical device with the hub;
• after the physical device and the hub are installed in the building, causing a third terminal to display a floor plan image of the building showing the arrangement position of the logical device;
• when the arrangement position is designated on the floor plan image via the third terminal, causing the third terminal to display a request for a physical device or a hub installed at the arrangement position;
• and
• in response to the request, associating the identification information read from the physical device or the hub by the third terminal with the logical device arranged on the floor plan image.
