The transfer portion transfers a toner image to a sheet. The fixing part fixes the toner image transferred to the sheet onto the sheet. The fixing part is provided on a downstream side in a conveyance path of the sheet with respect to a conveyance direction of the sheet. The conveyance path extends through the transfer portion. The first detection processing portion detects an amount of deflection of the sheet during a specific period in which the sheet is conveyed by both the transfer portion and the fixing part. The adjustment processing portion adjusts, before the specific period ends, conveyance speed of the sheet by the fixing part on the basis of the amount of deflection detected during the specific period.
