Radar cover for a vehicle radar system

A radar assembly comprising:

• a radar sensor;
• a bracket for mounting the radar sensor to a vehicle;
• and
• a radar cover cooperating with the bracket to protect the radar sensor, the radar cover having:
• a longitudinal wall portion;
• a first lateral wall portion curving away from a first end of the longitudinal wall portion forming a first radial shape at the transition between the first lateral wall portion and the longitudinal wall portion;
• and
• a second lateral wall portion curving away from a second end of the longitudinal wall portion forming a second radial shape at the transition between the second lateral wall portion and the longitudinal wall portion, wherein the longitudinal wall portion, the first lateral wall portion and the second lateral wall portion have substantially uniform wall thickness, thereby promoting unimpeded transmission of radar waves from the radar sensor throughout a wave pattern emitted from the radar sensor.
