Disclosed herein is an assembly for a riflescope having a leadscrew and a dial. The assembly is operable to connect the dial to the leadscrew and the riflescope. The assembly includes a collet, a fastener, and a plug. The collet is rotatably connected to the dial and the collet includes a plurality of flexures. The fastener extends along an axis and includes threads. The plug includes a threaded bore that is threadably engaged with the fastener such that rotation of the fastener causes the plug to translate along the axis. Upon rotation of the fastener in a first rotational direction, the plug acts upon the collet to thereby radially deflect the flexures into engagement with the leadscrew such that the dial and the leadscrew are rotatable together. Upon fastener rotation in an opposite direction, the collet disengages the leadscrew such that the dial and the leadscrew are independently rotatable.
