Portable Cooler

A portable cooler container system comprising:

• a container body including:
• a payload chamber formed by an inner liner wall,
• an outer wall, and
• a gap between the inner liner wall and the outer wall;
• a sleeve portion defining a volume of phase change material positioned in the gap in contact with the inner liner wall, wherein the phase change material is in thermal communication with the inner liner wall and is configured to absorb heat from the payload chamber;
• a lid operable to access the payload chamber;
• and
• a vacuum insulated structure positioned in the gap between the sleeve portion and the outer wall, wherein the vacuum insulated structure is configured to insulate the sleeve portion and the payload chamber.

A portable cooler container system comprising:

• a container body including:
• a payload chamber formed by an inner liner wall,
• an outer wall, and
• a gap between the inner liner wall and the outer wall;
• a sleeve portion defining a volume of phase change material positioned in the gap in contact with the inner liner wall, wherein the phase change material is in thermal communication with the inner liner wall and is configured to absorb heat from the payload chamber;
• a lid operable to access the payload chamber;
• a conduit extending at least partially within the sleeve portion, wherein the conduit is in thermal communication with the phase change material, wherein the conduit contains a cooling fluid configured to receive heat from the phase change material, and wherein the conduit is positioned within the sleeve portion such that the conduit oscillates within the sleeve portion;
• and
• insulation positioned in the gap configured to insulate the sleeve portion and the payload chamber.

A portable cooler container system comprising:

• a container body having a payload chamber;
• a lid operable to access the payload chamber;
• a phase change material disposed about at least a portion of the payload chamber;
• a conduit disposed between the payload chamber and an outer surface of the container body and extending within the phase change material, an outer surface of the conduit being in thermal communication with at least a portion of the payload chamber;
• and
• a temperature control system disposed between the outer surface of the container body and the payload chamber, the temperature control system comprising:
• a heat exchanger in thermal communication with the conduit, wherein the heat exchanger and the conduit are configured to flow heat from the payload chamber to the heat exchanger to cool at least a portion of the payload chamber, and
• circuitry configured to control an operation of the heat exchanger.
