Abstract
The present invention provides a medium composition for promoting production of a virus carrying a gene of interest, when culturing a virus-producing mammalian cell into which the gene of interest has been introduced, the medium composition containing β-alanine, a medium composition for culturing a mammalian cell that produces a virus or virus-like particle, the medium composition containing β-alanine, and the like.
