Abstract
An aqueous ink composition for writing utensils. The aqueous ink composition comprises an aqueous phase and an oil phase that is dispersed, in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, in the aqueous phase; at least one of the oil phase and the aqueous phase contains a coloring material; the oil phase contains an oxygen removing agent; the content ratio of the oxygen removing agent is 3% by mass or more relative to the mass of the oil phase; and the content ratio of the oxygen removing agent in the aqueous phase is 1.5% by mass or less relative to the mass of the aqueous phase.
Claims20
A water-based ink composition for a writing instrument, the ink composition comprising:
- an aqueous phase;
- and
- an oil phase dispersed in the aqueous phase as an oil-in-water drop-type emulsion, and
- wherein at least one of the oil phase and the aqueous phase comprises a colorant,
- the oil phase comprises an oxygen remover,
- a content of the oxygen remover is 3% by mass or more based on a mass of the oil phase, and
- a content of the oxygen remover in the aqueous phase is 1.5% by mass or less based on a mass of the aqueous phase.
A water-based ink composition for a writing instrument, the ink composition comprising:
- an aqueous phase;
- and
- an oil phase dispersed in the aqueous phase as an oil-in-water drop-type emulsion, and
- wherein at least one of the oil phase and the aqueous phase comprises a colorant, and
- the oil phase comprises a primary alcohol or fatty acid of formula (a) or (b) and having branched chains and 8 or more carbon atoms:
- wherein R1 and R2 are each a linear or branched alkyl group,
- R3 is hydrogen or a linear or branched alkyl group, and
- the number of carbon atoms in R1, R2 and R3 in total is 6 or more.
