Abstract

A metal cord-crosslinked rubber composite with excellent initial adhesiveness and heat-resistant adhesiveness between a crosslinked rubber and a metal cord is provided. A metal cord-crosslinked rubber composite includes a metal cord and a crosslinked rubber that coats the metal cord. The surface of the metal cord has an N atom ratio of 2 atomic % or more and 60 atomic % or less and a Cu/Zn ratio of 1 or more and 4 or less. The crosslinked rubber is a crosslinked rubber of a rubber composition containing a rubber component including natural rubber. The fatty acid content in the natural rubber is 1.60 mass % or less. The content of a cobalt-containing compound in the rubber composition is 1 part by mass or less per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
