Abstract
A copolymer suitable for use in an anion exchange membrane and an anion exchange membrane including the same are provided. The copolymer includes a repeating unit represented by Formula 1. In Formula 1, M1 is selected from arylene groups represented by Formulae 2-1 and 2-2, and M2 is an arylene group represented by Formula 3. Variables x and y are each independently in a range of 0.1 to 0.9, with the sum of x and y being 1. L1 and L2 are each independently selected from arylene groups represented by Formulae 4-1 and 4-2, as defined herein.
