Abstract
A composition including at least one solid organic peroxide, at least one polyol having a melting temperature of less than 40° C., preferably less than 30° C., more preferentially less than 20° C., at least one dispersant and at least one thickener. Also, the use of the composition as defined previously as a polymerization initiator, as a polymer modifier, or as a bleaching agent. Also, a process for preparing such a composition.

A composition comprising:
- 10% to 70% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, of at least one solid organic peroxide,
- at least one polyol having a melting temperature of less than 40° C.,
- from 0.5% to 20% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, of at least one dispersant, and
- at least one thickener.
A process for preparing a solid organic peroxide composition, comprising a step of mixing at least one solid organic peroxide, at least one polyol having a melting temperature of less than 40° C., at least one dispersant, and at least one thickener.
