Abstract

Provided is a paper sheet storage container capable of accurately taking out paper sheets one-by-one with a simple mechanism. The paper sheet group is held by the paper sheet placing table 3 and the holding members 5a and 5b, while the paper sheet placing table is being biased upward by the elastic member so that the position of the uppermost paper sheet of the paper sheet group placed on the paper sheet placing table 3 is substantially the same position as the positions of the holes through which air flows. In this state, in the paper sheet storage container 100, air is blown from the side to the uppermost paper sheet of the paper sheet group placed on the paper sheet placing table 3, thereby allowing the uppermost paper sheet to be brought into a state in which the vicinity of the center thereof has been raised.

Dependent claims

A paper sheet storage container comprising:

a paper sheet placing table configured to receive paper sheets;
a member configured to urge the paper sheet placing table upward;
a first flap and a second flap rotatably positioned adjacent opposite edges of said paper sheet placing table, said first flap and said second flap configured to:
(i) rotate allowing paper sheets to be placed on said paper sheet placing table;
and (ii) retain said paper sheets on said paper sheet placing table;
an air source;
and
one or more holes allowing air to flow from said air source to an uppermost paper sheet placed on the paper sheet placing table causing said uppermost paper sheet to separate from paper sheets therebelow.
