Abstract
A refuse vehicle can include one or more processing circuits. The one or more processing circuits can detect a presence of a waste receptacle within a range of the refuse vehicle, cause a user interface to be displayed, monitor one or more changes to a position of the waste receptacle with respect to at least a portion of a lift apparatus of the refuse vehicle, and update a graphical element to provide a visual indication which indicates that at least the portion of the lift apparatus is aligned with the waste receptacle.
Claims20
A refuse vehicle, comprising:
- a lift apparatus configured to engage with a waste receptacle;
- a camera disposed proximate to the lift apparatus;
- and
- one or more processing circuits in communication with the lift apparatus and the camera, the one or more processing circuits configured to:
- detect, based on first image data collected by the camera, a presence of the waste receptacle within a range of the refuse vehicle;
- cause, responsive to detection of the presence of the waste receptacle, a user interface to be displayed, the user interface including:
- a graphical element to provide (i) a first digital representation of a movement path of the lift apparatus away from at least a portion of the refuse vehicle and (ii) a second digital representation of a reach of the lift apparatus with respect to capturing the waste receptacle;
- monitor, based on second image data collected by the camera, one or more changes to a position of the waste receptacle with respect to at least a portion of the lift apparatus;
- and
- update, based on the one or more changes to the position of the waste receptacle, the graphical element to provide a visual indication which indicates that at least the portion of the lift apparatus is aligned with the waste receptacle.
A vehicle, comprising:
- a lift apparatus;
- a camera disposed proximate to the lift apparatus;
- and
- one or more processing circuits in communication with the lift apparatus and the camera, the one or more processing circuits configured to:
- detect, based on first image data collected by the camera, a presence of a waste receptacle within a range of the vehicle;
- cause, responsive to detection of the presence of the waste receptacle, a user interface to be displayed, wherein the user interface includes:
- a graphical element to provide (i) a first digital representation of a movement path of the lift apparatus away from at least a portion of the vehicle and (ii) a second digital representation of a reach of the lift apparatus with respect to capturing the waste receptacle;
- monitor, based on second image data collected by the camera, one or more changes to a position of the waste receptacle with respect to at least a portion of the lift apparatus;
- and
- update, based on the one or more changes to the position of the waste receptacle, the graphical element to provide a visual indication which indicates that at least the portion of the lift apparatus is aligned with the waste receptacle.
A system, comprising:
- one or more processing circuits in communication with a lift apparatus of a vehicle and a camera disposed on the vehicle;
- and
- the one or more processing circuits configured to:
- detect, based on first image data collected by the camera, a presence of a waste receptacle within a range of the vehicle;
- cause, responsive to detection of the presence of the waste receptacle, a user interface to be displayed, wherein the user interface includes:
- a graphical element to provide (i) a first digital representation of a movement path of the lift apparatus away from at least a portion of the vehicle and (ii) a second digital representation of a reach of the lift apparatus with respect to capturing the waste receptacle;
- monitor, based on second image data collected by the camera, one or more changes to a position of the waste receptacle with respect to at least a portion of the lift apparatus;
- and
- update, based on the one or more changes to the position of the waste receptacle, the graphical element to provide a visual indication which indicates that at least the portion of the lift apparatus is aligned with the waste receptacle.
