A bike trailer and a tow bar comprising a towing vehicle connector and a bike trailer connector

A towing vehicle connector for connecting a tow bar of a bike trailer to a towing vehicle, the towing vehicle connector comprising:

• the tow bar having a first end associated with the bike trailer and wherein the towing vehicle connector is configured to be arranged between a second end of the tow bar opposite the first end and the towing vehicle,
• wherein the towing vehicle connector comprises a first portion configured to be arranged in a fixed position in relation to the vehicle and a second portion configured to be arranged on the second end of the tow bar and releasably connectable to the first portion, wherein the second portion is configured to be rotatable in relation to the second end of the tow bar with at least two degrees of freedom.

A bike trailer connector for connecting a tow bar to a bike trailer, the bike trailer connector comprising:

• the tow bar having a first end associated with the bike trailer and a second end associated with a towing vehicle and wherein the bike trailer connector is arranged on the first end of the tow bar, the bike trailer connector comprising a securing mechanism for securing the tow bar to the bike trailer, wherein the securing mechanism is configured to be automatically engaged when the tow bar is arranged in an inserted position in a tow bar opening of the bike trailer.
