Apparatus for facilitating automated connection

An apparatus comprising:

• a first coupling structure comprising a first side wall defining a first bore;
• and
• a second coupling structure connected to or formed with the first coupling structure at a proximal end portion of the first coupling structure, the second coupling structure comprising a second side wall having an exterior surface defined by revolving a curve about an axis of the apparatus, wherein:
• (i) the revolving exterior surface comprises a first segment comprising a first radius of curvature proximal to the first coupling structure and a second comprising a second radius of curvature segment distal to the first coupling structure,
• (ii) each of the first and second segments of the exterior surface has a first side and a second side that is narrower than the first side,
• (iii) the second sides of the first and second segments of the exterior surface face each other;
• and
• (iv) the second side wall of the second coupling comprising a first radius of curvature defines a second bore.
